Adding a new task

To schedule an action, select Tools from the menu and choose Task Scheduler or go to the detailed view of the selected server or load balancer. Scroll down to the Task Scheduler section.

In the example, we will focus on adding a task from the general view. To do this, click the Add new task button and fill out the form below.

First, we select the server that the task will concern. We provide the task name and, if necessary, we can add a description.

Then we determine the frequency of the task execution. We can choose:

  • Once
  • Daily - with the option to exclude Saturday/Sunday
  • Weekly
  • Monthly

After determining the frequency of our task execution, we select the date and time of its first/cyclic execution. The last step is to choose the operation that will be performed:

  • Scaling the server - changing server parameters - CPU/RAM
  • Turning on the server
  • Restarting the server
  • Stopping the server - retains the IP address
  • Turning off the server - frees the IP address
  • Server reinstallation
  • Server deletion
Note: some operations may not be available for load balancers or for servers for which administration services are purchased.

Click the Add task button. The task is added to the queue and is visible in the task list.
